Attending the Summit will leave your employees energized about the work of the industry and with a renewed sense of commitment to your company’s mission. In addition, many employees go back to their organizations with new ideas and information, connections to industry partners, and opportunities for collaboration and growth.

How do I make sure that I am sending the right employees to the Summit?

We think EVERY KIND of employee is the right kind of employee to send to the Summit.  Regardless of role or tenure, all employees will leave the Summit energized, make some new connections, and experience a sense of engagement that will have them excited about coming back to work.  See the chart below for some guidelines about what kind of employees might benefit from which sessions:

Is there a limit to the number of employees that can attend from a company?

Nope, no limits. Max capacity for the venue lunch is 550 attendees, but, at this time, we are not limiting how many of those attendees come from what organization.

What kind of network and resources will I be exposed to as an attendee of the Summit?

Attendees of the Summit come from a wide range of backgrounds and industry sectors. There will be multiple opportunities to network with them all in both informal capacities between sessions and at the exclusive reception and career fair at the end of the event. The primary resource that comes out of the event is knowledge to take back to your organization via the sessions.

What is required of me as an attendee of the Summit?

A ticket and a hungry mind! All the sessions have an opportunity for Q&A, so be prepared with your questions. Also, don’t forget to bring your business cards to leave your contact information with new connections or bring a resume/CV if you are interested in participating in the career fair. The Summit tends to be a fun and casual event, but we suggest you dress business casual to serve as a good representative of your organization.

How do I decide which sessions to attend during the Summit?

There are no wrong sessions to attend. Generally, we suggest that you follow what interests you. If your organization is sending you for professional development, attend the most relevant sessions to your job title.
