From BioForward Operations Manager, Brian Moeller:
BioForward makes it a point to help those involved in the biohealth industry create partnerships and develop networks. So, it’s no surprise that at the 2019 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit on Wednesday, October 2nd, one of BioForward’s main objectives is to create an environment conducive to making connections across biohealth industries and fostering relationships.
Whether it’s finding a future collaborator while circulating the room or hearing a presentation from someone whose work inspires you, here are three reasons why the Wisconsin Biohealth Summit is an excellent opportunity to grow your network:
1. Hear from industry experts on how partnerships and new markets have elevated their business and Wisconsin’s biohealth industry
To start the day off right, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a keynote session addressing technology and creativity across multiple sectors. Later on in the day, attendees will learn from various Wisconsin leaders on how connections in the Wisconsin biohealth industry have not only allowed them to succeed in ways they couldn’t even imagine but how they have also benefitted the Wisconsin biohealth ecosystem.
2. Attend an afternoon Career Fair that will allow you to meet future talent or employers
The Career Fair is still in its infancy, with this being the second year on Wisconsin Biohealth Summit agenda. Last year participants, both career seekers, and companies found the fair beneficial. We can’t wait to expand the Career Fair this year to offer even more benefits. While enjoying a networking reception, peruse the tables set up in Promenade Hall featuring a variety of different companies from 4:15-5:30 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity to make connections with representatives from companies at the bleeding edge of biohealth. Also, you can even get your company some exposure to prospective employees by purchasing a table (click here for details).
3. Enjoy built-in networking opportunities and chances to connect with Wisconsin Biohealth Industry Leaders
Finally, with downtime between sessions, lunch, and the afternoon reception, there will be a variety of opportunities to make connections with attendees, speakers, and thought leaders at this year’s Wisconsin Biohealth Summit. Whether it’s discussing the thought-provoking topics mentioned throughout the day, bouncing new and creative business ideas off one another, or reconnecting with those you already know, the connections you make here will be worthwhile. Innovative thinkers like these will challenge you to consider more significant ideas and are valuable members of any personal or professional network.
Last year, the summit sold out with over 505 attendees, so this is a chance you won’t want to miss! For registration details and this year’s agenda check out the Wisconsin Biohealth Summit event site!
